Donna and her team performed yard maintenance for us this past year and landscaped an overgrown and neglected portion of our yard. The vision for this space was to create a “Mini Mt. Cuba” with native perennials and edible plants. Over the course of a year they worked to repeatedly eradicate tough invasive weeds as part of the yard maintenance, and then worked with me on this newly blank canvas to design a series of garden rooms in this large formerly unkempt area. Donna and Jordan helped me envision what this area could look like and created a concept plan including deer resistant, four-season interest with a detailed plant list. The plants were installed in late fall, and I very much look forward to what emerges in the spring and beyond.
